Building corporeal forms around tiny fragments of her own divine being, the goddess Elinu created the Elins. Their physical appearance reflected the youngest daughter of Arun's naive wish for beauty and peace.

Their queen governs both the Elins and the Poporis, with whom they share a history and a mission. The queen and her forces have proven their wisdom and diplomatic prowess in peace, and their tactical and fighting prowess in war.

．FIXED the body shape changing to human proportions when using ECE.
．No skeleton node modifications for the body; only the head uses a modified scaling. This means the Elin shape will now be created by the body mesh alone.
．Skeletons now use the original names (skeletonbeast.nif and skeletonbeast_female.nif).

Known Issues
(MINOR)(Affects Enhanced Character Edit) When updating from a previous version of the race, entering showracemenu will cause the neck to lengthen.
 
The fix would be to use the HEAD HEIGHT slider to shorten the neck. Once 'fixed', the neck will stay at it's new length no matter how many times you use the showracemenu command.

Removed the HDT Physics Extension files because they are included with the main race pack.
Removed the TBBP skeletons and animations. Use the latest XPMS Extended. This has nothing to do with the modified Elin skeletons, the required XPMS Extended skeletons are needed if you wish to have your Elin use BBP/TBBP/HDT clothes and accessories.
The CBBE/UNP body and texture options along with their respective plugins remain the same.

Extract the Elin presets file and copy 'CalienteTools' folder then paste and merge with the CalienteTools folder where you have Bodyslide installed.
 
NOTE: If you are not familiar with converting armors to another body type, there are tutorials on the Bodyslide/Outfit Studio page at Nexus.

When you start a new project and select a slider set (for conversion), instead of selecting a template from the drop-down menu (first option), you need to choose the second option (Use An Existing SliderSet). Browse to the ConversionSets folder (CalienteTools > Bodyslide) and open the 'ElinBody' folder. Choose one of the Elin conversion sets (CBBE/UUNP/7B)(Base or Curvy). Afterwards, proceed with the next steps as explained in the tutorials.
 
IMPORTANT
Do not forget to create the CBBE feet or UUNP hands and feet when building the new Elin bodies. The new hands and feet will prevent seam gaps.

The kit provides the normal and color-matching HDT ears and tails and the non-HDT ears and tails.
When creating or modifying a follower or NPC, install the non-HDT files. After you're done and created the new facegeoms, reinstall the HDT files. This ensures the follower or NPC is not forced to use the HDT ears and tails which will cause your game to crash.

FINALLY

1- Not all XPMS Extended body sliders appear when using ECE.

2- RaceMenu saves all headparts when creating a Preset, but fails to applie certain headparts when loading a preset (particularly the Elin ears and tail). The same applies when exporting then importing the head.

．The Requiem patch is to make the Elins compatible with the Requiem mod. Without it, npcs, followers, and summons A.I. will not work with the changes made by Requiem.

IMPORTANT
I was informed the Requiem Patch does not work with Elin Race v1.6. I don't use Requiem and can't help with this. I would appreciate if someone can help by creating a new patch for Elin v1.6.
 
Enhanced Camera. Suggested 1st-person camera fix.
I have reason to believe the issue with the 1st-person camera is caused by the edits to the various skeleton nodes and branches. I did a quick test with Skyrim - Enhanced Camera and found the results to be favorable, however, I only did a quick test (working on other projects) and the author has mentioned some bugs with using his mod so read the information provided and decide if you want to use it.
 
It's an SKSE plugin with a configuration file to edit certain features (ex. head bobbing in 1st-person) so installation and removal is simple and no orphan scripts baked into the game saves.

1a) Race Powers and Abilities

• Power. Circle of Elinu Protection. Cast a protective circle that heals you and and your followers while negating damage by half. Must stay within the circle.
• Ability. Fortify Shouts. Reduce shout charge time by 20% only during daytime.
• Summon Elin Granted Shout. When summoning an Elin, you receive the Voice of Elin shout. This gathers the summon Elins to your location and slowly heals them. Range is limited.
• Summon Elin Granted Spell. When summoning an Elin, you receive a Restoration spell called Elin Ward (Adept level). Increases armor rating by 80 points and negates up to 80 points of spell damage and effects.
• Werewolf Howl. When transforming into a werewolf while in the presence of your summoned Elins, the How of Fear changes to the Voice of Elin. Your werewolf Elins will appear at your location and slowly heal. Limited range.
